Phentermine is a centrally acting stimulant and is an isomer of methamphetamine. This drug provokes the neurotransmitters by releasing certain compounds that target the CNS which in turn puts a halt to body need for hunger. It is however not recommended for continuous use as the person may become addicted to it.
